As a fully operational working farm, there is a lot to see at Whirlow. The farm is 138 acres of upland on the edge of Sheffield and is now open every Sunday between 11:30am and 4:00pm. Our team of volunteer Farm Guides will be more than willing to show you around.
We have a flock of 300 ewes and a pig unit with 20 farrowing sows plus at any one time up to 120 of their offspring. There are a few cows and their calves, plus a poultry shed with not only laying hens but also a variety of other poultry.

There are several acres of soft fruit which we offer on a pick-your-own basis. Finally we have 4 horses in livery and a small animal handling unit with ponies, goats, pet lambs, rabbits and guinea pigs.

For visits on a Sunday there's no need to book, just make your way to the bottom yard and one of our Farm Guides will take you round.
